This project grew naturally during a time when the world felt tight and quiet. While restrictions narrowed life, my daily walks opened it again.
Instead of focusing on what was no longer available, I followed what remained: light, shadow, distance, silence.

I walked, observed, and photographed the fragments that still shimmered; the small freedoms that were left to me.
These images became a bridge: from heaviness back to clarity. They made me shift from isolation into presence and turned my dark thoughts into a softer kind of hope. What began as a way to steady myself turned into a visual archive. A slow journey of ten kilometers at a time. Through stillness, nature, empty streets, and fleeting moments that felt beautiful simply because they existed – and became mine.

(The title refers to the distances I wandered on these walks. Each one carrying me a little further back into my own life.)
